Hi I am Helen. I started my working life in industry as a junior accountant and realised I actually enjoy it, strangely enough (smiley). So as well as languages degree I have obtained a specialist degree in accountancy in the University.
I chose to pursue a career in the financial sector and for few years worked as an accountant for computing, telecommunications and security businesses.
Since 2010 I have worked in various accountancy practices. Having progressed my career to the senior accountant. I realised I love what I do, but mainly to help people is my main passion.
I have always helped friends and family with their bookkeeping. Also I have been a treasurer for few years now for a local tennis club.
Over the years I learned that I am peoples’ person rather than accountancy clerk. Which is what I think my main strength is.
Word of mouth spread, my clients list grew and I realised it was something I could pursue - being my own boss.
Today, I am handling a varied list of clients consisting of sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies, while offering them good advice and saving them accountancy costs. It's my belief, that a bookkeeper is usually closer than accountant, with more personal and friendly approach.
I am always ready to help whatever your situation is.
